Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Customer Service Officer to provide professional, customer-focused security and life safety services at client sites in New York. The role emphasizes a visible, professional presence, courteous interactions, and adherence to established policies and procedures.

The position involves responding to inquiries, monitoring facilities, and assisting with incident reporting.

Qualifications

• State or municipality licensed security officer required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Must obtain a security guard license within an acceptable period.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional demeanor with customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain visible presence in the facility.
• Monitor environment for suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Greet and assist guests in a professional, friendly manner.
• Answer phones professionally and assist staff and customers.
• Control access to the property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on incidents and accidents as required.
• Follow emergency action plans and policies.
