Job summary

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas seeks a Security Manager to oversee all security operations, including monitoring, training, and incident investigations. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and compliance with ACA, PREA and OSHA standards, and coordinate response plans for emergencies across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in security management or related field.
• Five years of transferable management experience in human services, corrections, or security.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train security staff to ensure policy and procedural compliance.
• Oversee 24/7 security operations, scheduling, and inspections.
• Lead emergency training, risk management, and incident investigations.
• Maintain records and monitor security equipment and procedures.
