Job summary

DK Security, Inc. seeks qualified professionals to join the Central Control team, a 24/7 Security Operations Center supporting State of Michigan facilities. Operators work with State personnel and report to Central Control leadership to deliver exceptional service.

Central Control monitors life safety systems, coordinates emergency responses, and serves as a central contact for agency inquiries. Applicants with security, firefighting, corrections, or law enforcement background are encouraged to

Qualifications

Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office, email, internet.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED per state law.
Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana).
Must not have felonies or certain misdemeanors as defined by state law.
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

Receive and process emergency information and requests (medical, threats, suspicious activity, weather, etc).
Initiate emergency response and coordinate with law enforcement, dispatchers, and responders.
Monitor security systems and communicate with stakeholders; draft after-action reports.
Help with after-hours support and ensure proper security operations.
