Job summary

DK Security, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily security operations, staffing, and service delivery. You will report to Operations leadership and work closely with HR, Site Supervisors, Security Officers, and the DK Command Center.

This full-time, 2nd shift role offers a payroll/billing support component and opportunities to coordinate recruiting, training, and equipment distribution while ensuring compliance with certifications and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• CPL required or ability to obtain CPL.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations leadership in managing contract and temporary accounts, staffing needs, employee support, and service issues.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate shift coverage with Site Supervisors and DK Command Center.
• Support payroll and billing by reviewing timekeeping and scheduling records.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, training, uniform issuance, and employee placement with HR and Operations leadership.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications and training schedules.
• Maintain account, employee, incident, training, and operational records; review reports for completeness and accuracy.
