Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator in Hanover, MD to support the Infrastructure Team with a secure, scalable Windows environment. You will design, deploy, and sustain Windows Server and Desktop deployments, Active Directory GPOs, and imaging pipelines using PXE and MCM.

You will be responsible for security documentation, patching, and maintaining SSP/STIG compliance, collaborating across the customer team to meet program requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Windows server and desktop OS in bare metal and virtual environments.
• Experience creating and deploying workstation images via PXE/MCM or similar platforms.
• Experience configuring Active Directory users, groups, objects and GPOs.
• Experience maintaining Windows OS for SSP and STIG compliance.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and basic network services.
• Experience with network security principles and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy, and maintain Windows server/desktop OS including Active Directory Domain Controllers.
• Create, deploy, and maintain the MCM suite of applications.
• Create and maintain workstation images through PXE boot or MCM.
• Manage AD users, groups, objects, and GPOs.
• Plan software rollout/updates for Windows OS.
• Ensure SSP and STIG compliance; provide security documentation.
