Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator in Hanover, MD to join an Infrastructure Team supporting the delivery of hands-on training solutions. You will design, mature, and sustain Windows Server/Desktop environments, including AD, RBAC, GPOs, and automated imaging with MCM.

Responsibilities include imaging, deployment, patching, and ensuring SSP/STIG compliance, along with providing security documentation to ISSO and management.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Windows servers/desktops in bare metal and virtual environments.
• Experience imaging workstations via PXE boot and MCM or similar tools.
• Experience managing Active Directory users, groups, and GPOs.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and network services.
• Understanding security principles and STIG guidance is a plus.
• Top Secret SCI w/ Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy and maintain Windows server and desktop OS including AD Domain Controllers.
• Create, deploy and maintain the MCM suite of applications.
• Create, maintain and deploy workstation and thin client images via PXE/MCM.
• Manage AD user accounts, groups, objects and GPOs.
• Plan software rollout and Windows updates.
• Maintain Windows OS SSP and STIG compliance.
• Provide documentation to ISSO and management for security requirements.
• Maintain system documentation and infrastructure procedures.
