Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD to sustain and strengthen a distributed infrastructure while supporting engineering, deployment, and operation of new capabilities across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, SCCM, Exchange, PowerShell, VMware, VDI, and security tooling. Candidates must meet TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 7 years of Windows administration experience.
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in information security management, with demonstrated expertise in security governance, risk management, compliance, and operational security functions.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with Windows Active Directory and DNS environments, GPOs, SCCM, and Exchange administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor test infrastructure systems, applications, and processes to identify, track, and resolve issues promptly.
• Support server, router, and firewall configuration and perform security management activities.
• Manage IAVA and security scanning in accordance with System Security Plans, ensuring timely remediation.
• Assist with patch deployment, security updates, and monthly security scans at designated sites.
• Provide technical support to partner workgroups and maintain clear documentation.
