Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD to support a high-performing Agile team in a complex mission environment.

You will monitor Windows/Linux infrastructure, manage AD, DNS, GPOs, SCCM, Exchange, and security tooling, while contributing to automation and on-call support to keep systems secure, available, and compliant with IAVA and security requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of Windows administration experience.
• At least 7 years in information security management with governance, risk, compliance, and operational security experience.
• 5+ years with AD, DNS, GPOs, SCCM, Exchange, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Windows Command Line and scripting.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and principles.
• Experience with VMware, Linux, networking, and security architectures.
• Hands-on IAVA management and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor test infrastructure systems, applications, and processes to identify, track, and resolve issues.
• Support server, router, and firewall configuration and security management.
• Perform performance optimization and security scanning aligned with SSps and SSPs.
• Provide user and partner support and maintain technical documentation.
• Respond to alerts using enterprise monitoring tools and publish status updates.
