Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Phone Installation Technician to install, maintain, and support telecom systems, including VoIP and legacy phones, at customer sites in McLean and Chantilly. Office presence is required on-site, with a 40-hour work week and travel between locations.

The role requires a TSSCI with poly clearance and involves a 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. shift, with potential extended hours during peak periods and coverage for 24x7 operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of cabling methodologies and industry standards.
• Experience installing endpoints including VOIP and phones, and network switches.
• Ability to troubleshoot telecom and hardware issues and answer related queries.

Responsibilities

• Support all facets of phone installations and troubleshooting of telephones.
• Install, pull, terminate, and dress cabling per Sponsor standards.
• Configure call routing, voicemail, extensions, and phone features.
• Travel between customer buildings or to alternate sites as needed.
