Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Phone Technician with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join the Network Service Division in Chantilly, VA.

The role covers installation, maintenance, and configuration of VoIP and legacy telephone systems, with travel within Northern Virginia and occasional assignments to other locations. The ideal candidate will have strong cabling skills, experience with endpoint devices, and proven problem-solving abilities for telecom systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of various cabling methodologies, industry standards, and reading cable run lists.
• Experience with installing endpoints including desktop IT equipment, printers, VoIP and digital phones, network switches.
• Experience resolving technical problems involving computer hardware, network, and telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide program support across telephone installation, maintenance, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Execute infrastructure tasks: pulling, terminating, and dressing cabling per regulations and sponsor standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues: faulty connections, dropped calls, hardware malfunctions.
• Provision and configure telephony features: call routing, voicemail, extensions, and standard phone features.
• Travel locally between customer buildings in Northern Virginia, with potential for temporary assignments elsewhere.
