Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC, is seeking a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the Combat Survivability Division at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. This in-person on-site role supports Low Observables (LO) Life Cycle Management and requires an active TS with SAP eligibility.

You will analyze requirements, draft technical documents, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering across lifecycle stages (requirements, design, integration, verification, validation).
• Ability to elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and communicate across multi-level security environments.
• Summarize data and findings for technical documents, reports, and stakeholder presentations.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage requirements to align with project objectives.
• Review LO life cycle management documentation for LO system supportability.
• Identify and document risks for programs and readiness; support decision-making.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, program offices, and external partners.
• Prepare clear technical documents including gap analyses, plans, and status briefings.
• Contribute to integrated master plans and milestone tracking.
• Analyze readiness, sustainment, and cost data to inform investments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in LO sustainment.
