Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC seeks a Journeyman MBSE Systems Engineer to support the FAC Program Office (PMA-228) at Patuxent River NAS, Lexington Park, MD. This on-site role requires TS/SCI eligibility and a US citizenship.

You will apply engineering principles to weapons systems and MBSE practices, using UML/SysML/UAF to inform decisions. Responsibilities include system integration, documentation, verification, and model-based analyses across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical BS or BA degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology.
• Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Familiarity with interface definition practices and verification fundamentals.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, review-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Top Secret/SCI eligible security clearance is required.
• Selected candidate must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
• Experience with MBSE practices.
• Expertise in building and assessing systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and recommendations that inform key technical decisions.
• Experience with systems engineering analyses and using the results with other engineering models to draw conclusions and optimize performance, schedule, timing, costs, etc.
• Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
• Requires experience with systems engineering and of model-based methodologies.
• Experience with the use of modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, and UAF.
