Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Systems Engineer II in Cedar Rapids, IA to contribute across the systems engineering lifecycle in a secure lab environment. You will collaborate with airborne and ground communication teams to deliver mission-critical, security-hardened solutions for DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with the systems development process from requirements through production.
• U.S. citizenship is required for a security clearance.
• Typically a STEM degree with 2 years minimum relevant experience or an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a high-performing team on airborne and ground communication products.
• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle including architecture and verification.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
• Provide systems engineering support for bids and proposals and technical strategy.
• Perform daily tasks in a classified, controlled lab environment.
• Travel up to 10%.
