Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Systems Engineer II to join the Secure Subsystems team. You will contribute to design, test, and certification of cross‑domain technologies and cryptographic products for mission critical aerospace systems.

U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required. A STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are expected; experience with Agile, DOORS or CAMEO, and Rust or Python is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with the systems development process from requirements to production.
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a high-performing team on airborne and ground communication products, delivering secure, mission-critical solutions.
• Support all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle: requirements definition, architecture, allocation, integration, verification, and qualification.
