Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to support the DoD and Worldwide Public Sector. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a security SME for defense customers.

This is a high-impact role within a collaborative AWS team, shaping cloud adoption across government programs. The position requires a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
