BCT LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 0) in Annapolis Junction, MD with an active TS/SCI w/Poly. Some telework is authorized.

The role designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains complex software systems including high-performance data processing and real-time components. Strong C/C++, Bash, Python, Java, and Unix experience are required along with AGILE practices and OSS/GOTS awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four (4) years of software experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Works individually or as part of a team; tests software components and documents results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Uses software development methodologies appropriate to the environment.
• Advises on hardware/software trade-offs and OSS/GOTS selections.
• Develops in Unix environments and scripts in shell.
