BCT LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 0) with TS/SCI w/Poly for our Annapolis Junction, Maryland location, with some telework options. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, deploying, documenting, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems supporting high-stakes missions.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or four years of equivalent experience, strong C/C++, Bash, and Python skills, and Unix development background.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four years of software experience on projects with similar processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Resolve software problem reports and perform shell scripting in Unix environments.
• Provide input on system design, including software/hardware trade-offs and OSS/COTS usage.
• Develop benchmarks, write test scripts, and run tests on high-performance computers.
