Job summary

Amentum in Maryland is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java SWE to design and implement geolocation capabilities and service-oriented architectures. You will build Java-based microservices, work with Spring Boot, and participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment and Tier 3 support.

Expect Agile collaboration, code reviews, and debugging across integrated applications, with a focus on performance and compliance, including 508 standards. TS//SCI w Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Java development (17+).
• Experience with Spring Boot and messaging frameworks.
• Experience building service-oriented architectures and microservices.
• Database experience with Mongo or MySQL.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners.
• Familiarity with 508 compliance in UI.
• Python development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based enhancements and new features.
• Collaborate in an Agile setting to translate requirements into user stories.
• Perform integration, testing, and debugging for deployed apps.
• Provide Tier 3 support and bug fixes.
• Conduct code reviews and root-cause analysis.
• Work with stakeholders and team members across disciplines.
