Job summary

Amentum is seeking a senior SWE to develop Java-based geolocation capabilities within an agile, multi-discipline team. You will work across UI, front-end, back-end, and full-stack areas, integrating capabilities into platforms including containers.

Requirements include extensive Enterprise Java and SOA experience, plus microservices, Python, and database skills (Mongo/MySQL). TS/SCI w FSP clearance is required. Salary ranges reflect seniority and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline is required.
• Fourteen years of SWE experience on similar programs may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with enterprise Java and service-oriented architectures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development predominantly using Java to enhance existing capabilities.
• Collaborate within an agile team of software and systems engineers to derive user stories and plan work.
• Perform integration and testing as needed and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide tier 2/3 support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes.
• Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
