Job summary

Amentum seeks a seasoned SWE for geolocation-focused programs requiring TS/SCI w Poly. The role develops Java-based enterprise services, microservices, and data-driven applications across platforms, using containers and agile practices.

You will design, implement, test, and optimize software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a security-conscious, high-performance engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required. Four additional SWE years may substitute for degree.
• 14+ years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based software to enhance existing capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers in an agile environment to analyze requirements and derive user stories.
• Perform integration and testing as needed; debug and fix software issues.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for deployed capabilities and address bugs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
