Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build geolocation capabilities and microservice architectures using Java and Spring Boot. You will contribute across the full lifecycle from requirements to testing and deployment, including 508 compliance and supporting Tier 3 issues.

The role demands strong Java development, experience with Spring Boot, messaging systems, and DevOps practices. Collaboration across teams in a mission-driven environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Java development (v17+).
• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Experience with messaging frameworks and data formats (JSON, XML, protobuf).
• Experience building service-oriented architectures and microservices.
• Databases such as MongoDB/MySQL.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence for requirements and tracking.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Experience implementing 508 compliance in UIs.
• Experience with Python development.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based software enhancements.
