Solipsys, a Collins Aerospace subsidiary, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement real-time C2 software using Java, C++, Angular, GraphQL and more. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance, with up to 25% travel.

You will work in a collaborative Agile team, architect new features, and deliver robust software for government and commercial customers, supporting aviation and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in object-oriented software development using Java or C++.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.
• Full life cycle development experience.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST, Kafka, RabbitMQ and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with OOP, multithreaded systems and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and code capabilities in an Agile environment.
• Develop new features for real-time Command & Control systems.
• Collaborate with a team to create robust software solutions.
• Engage with customers and internal/external teams.
• Travel to customer sites for demos and integration work; up to 25%.
