Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and implement real-time C2 software using Java, C++, Angular and GraphQL. You will participate in architecture, coding, testing and customer demonstrations in an on-site environment in the Baltimore area.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals, DoD security clearance eligibility, and experience across the full software lifecycle. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in object oriented programming (Java/C++).
• Clearance eligibility to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an Agile environment.
• Develop features for real-time C2 systems.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver software solutions.
