Job summary

Solipsys, managed by Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement real-time C2 software. You will write code in Java and C++, build features in an Agile team, and contribute to world-class command-and-control systems for government and commercial customers.

Travel to customer sites for demos and integrations may be required up to 25%. A STEM degree and 2+ years of software development experience are typical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) plus 2+ years of software experience.
• Experience with object-oriented languages (Java/C++).
• Strong CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment.
• Develop new features for real-time situational awareness C2 systems.
• Collaborate with customers and internal/external teams to deliver software solutions.
• Travel to customer sites for demos, integration and support (up to 25%).
