Job summary

Silvus Technologies, part of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer – Public Safety to support customers with tailored RF solutions. You will participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and field support, influencing product development and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams.

Expect travel up to 50%, on-site customer engagements, and close alignment with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years in pre- and post-sales support, or a high school diploma with 6+ years in pre- and post-sales support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Must be based in the Washington Metropolitan area.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Demonstrate Silvus products and tailor solutions for customers.
• Visit sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field issues and gather feedback for development.
• Travel to meetings, events, and demonstrations up to 50% of the time.
