Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Senior Sales Director for Law Enforcement & Homeland Defense to lead North America revenue growth across federal, state, and local public safety agencies. You will manage a team of Sales Directors, align with Market Development Executives, and drive strategic opportunities with major customers.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in public safety, RF/mesh networking, and SDR tech, plus a U.S. security clearance and citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of successful sales leadership experience in tactical or public safety communications, C4ISR, electronic warfare, or defense/public safety technology.
• Domain expertise across Federal Markets and/or State & Local markets.
• 2+ years of sales leadership experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing field sales teams with multi-million-dollar annual quotas.
• Strong grasp of RF communications, tactical MANET mesh networking, software-defined radios (SDR), and spectrum awareness solutions.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual orders and revenue targets, quarterly quotas, and booking forecasts for the entire vertical across North America.
• Directly manage, mentor, and grow a team of specialized Sales Directors.
• Drive pipeline velocity, CRM discipline, and accurate forecasting for all deals in the vertical.
• Collaborate with Silvus engineering, product development, marketing, and business development to grow the business.
• Travel up to 50% for customer site visits, field demonstrations, briefings, and major trade shows.
