Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Site SA Assistant to provide on-site services across DoS offices, ensuring assets and operations meet the mission. The role focuses on hands-on hardware and application support in a government IT environment.

You will install and maintain servers, switches, workstations, and DoS applications, monitor security patches, enforce AD controls, and support backups and restorations. A Secret clearance and 2+ years of SA/IT experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of site systems administration experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and proactively monitor hardware (servers, switches, routers, workstations, drives, readers, printers, scanners) and core applications.
• Manage security patches, VIBs, and Oracle/SQL databases; enforce DoS security controls.
• Enforce AD administration, vSphere remediation, and security compliance tools as part of DoS policies.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, efficiency, and data backups/restores; coordinate upgrades and disposals.
• Log, manage, and resolve incidents in the Service Now ticket system; document configuration changes.
• Maintain site topology diagrams and comprehensive technical documentation.
