Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Site SA Assistant to provide on-site systems administration support for DoS offices nationwide. You will work with the SA lead to install, maintain, and monitor servers, network gear, and critical applications while enforcing security controls and performing regular backups.

This role requires 2+ years of SA experience, an Associate's degree or equivalent, and a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Security+, and ITIL 4 Foundation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT/SA experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Preferred: CompTIA A+, Security+, ITIL 4 Foundation certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SA services to DoS offices nationwide to manage assets and operations.
• Install, maintain, and monitor hardware and applications (AD, SCCM, systems) for DoS users.
• Manage security patches, vSphere bundles, and Oracle/SQL databases.
• Enforce DoS security controls (AD admin, remediation, compliance tools).
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability; back up, restore, purge data; coordinate upgrades.
• Log and resolve incidents in ServiceNow; document configuration changes.
• Monitor performance and maintain site topology diagrams and technical documentation.
