Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Enterprise IT Operations & Asset Management Engineer to provide critical operational support across a large enterprise environment, spanning change management, asset lifecycle, licensing, procurement, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise IT operations, configuration management, asset management, or service management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise service management platform.
• Understanding of asset lifecycle, configuration, change, and software/hardware lifecycles.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities across teams.
• Ability to translate technical information into accurate operational records and requests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise change management activities by reviewing change requests and supporting CAB activities.
• Engineer and maintain enterprise asset information within ServiceNow across servers, storage, and other assets.
• Manage configuration and lifecycle activities to ensure accurate deployment, decommissioning, and maintenance.
• Support hardware and software maintenance by coordinating vendor renewals and reviewing costs.
• Coordinate enterprise software and hardware acquisitions, entitlements, and purchase orders.
• Manage software entitlement information and licensing records across the environment.
• Support vendor and product relationships as the operational point of contact.
