Job summary
RTX's Collins Aerospace in Sterling, VA, is seeking a Software Engineer II specializing in DevOps and infrastructure. Onsite role focused on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and supporting both Linux and Windows environments.
You'll work with tools like GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes, ensuring reliable build and test environments for simulations and DoD-related workloads. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance; US citizenship required.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop automation solutions enabling efficient code builds and deployments.
- Own the CI/CD pipeline and optimize integration/delivery for simulation environments.
- Troubleshoot build chain and CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Identify automations to reduce manual processes with recommendations.
