Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and lab environments in a dynamic, security-conscious setting. You will collaborate with developers, QA, IT, and security to streamline builds and deployments.

Responsibilities include automating infrastructure, supporting secure builds, and contributing to DevSecOps practices while maintaining a robust test and development lab. The role requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of DevOps operations experience with GitLab/GitHub and release management.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker (multistage, docker-compose).
• Scripting in Python and Bash; Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multiple components.
• Create and update multi-architecture Docker images and development containers.
• Administer GitLab, CI runners, and related tooling; support lab infrastructure.
• Define and improve software version control processes and automation.
