Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Captain to supervise a team of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites. The Captain ensures post orders are followed, rounds are conducted, and reports are filed promptly.

Minimum five years of security supervisor experience is required, with a preference for a Criminal Justice degree or related field. Former law enforcement or military background is valued; growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Former law enforcement or military experience required.
• College degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of security supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and disciplining personnel; document actions with management guidance.
• Training Security Officers; review post orders and assignment details.
• Assist in payroll submission and scheduling; ensure post coverage.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements and quality service.
• Prepare, file, and submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Interview, orient, and train employees; plan and direct work.
• Develop and implement supervisory plans; appraise performance.
• Perform Security Officer duties when needed and follow post orders.
