Job summary

Cisco is hiring a senior engineering leader to shape automation strategy for a critical Enterprise Security product used across cloud and on-prem environments. You will tackle complex quality and scalability challenges and influence engineering practices while improving customer experience through reliable automation.

The role requires extensive leadership, deep security-focused software engineering expertise, and a track record of delivering large, multi-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS CS/CE or related field with 12+ years software engineering experience, or MS with 10+ years.
• 4+ years of management experience leading software engineering teams.
• 5+ years experience with software security development and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in design, development and implementation of products or foundational technology.
• Contributes to product roadmap discussions and provides schedules and resource estimates; drives project delivery.
• Define and enforce security practices and secure development architecture across projects.
• Manage product and system-level tradeoffs to drive quality and performance.
