Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Cloud Security Engineering to lead SaaS product teams focused on cloud-based software solutions.

You will guide engineers in design, development, testing, and deployment, while shaping strategy and people leadership across the organization. You will manage a small but capable team inside the Control Plane organization, driving production-grade, scalable services for Umbrella and Cisco Secure Access products, and collaborate across teams to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or computer science, with 12+ years of experience and 2+ years in people management.
• Experience with container orchestration (AWS ECS/EKS), Kafka, and high-throughput data stores (MySQL/Redis).
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps, building AI-enhanced software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead fast-paced teams to design, develop and deliver scalable cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Partner with internal and external teams to align requirements and deliver results.
• Develop strong working relationships and drive alignment with company goals.
• Act as customer advocate and point of contact for select customers.
