IK Systems in New York seeks a Dedicated Support Engineer to deliver technical expertise, troubleshoot security and life-safety systems, and perform remote configurations.

You will work with clients, installation teams, and project stakeholders to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and optimize systems. A BA degree and strong knowledge of security software, networking, and SQL are required.

Qualifications

• BA degree in computer science, telecommunications, computer engineering, or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Expertise in security software, networking, SQL databases, diagnostics, and advanced system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex software, networking, SQL database, and controller issues for security and life safety systems.
• Provide first-line customer support and resolve service tickets per SLAs.
• Develop and execute service plans for contract customers, including diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
• Remote configuration of Plan Manager, LPR, and Advanced Video Analytics, plus database management.
