Job summary

i2G Systems in the United States is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Engineer to provide engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients. You will work with internal and external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include reviewing architectural and electrical drawings, designing system installations, and supporting RFI/RFP responses.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in electronic security systems.
• Experience in design and planning of access control and video systems.
• Certifications or training in major vendors are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand electronic security tech (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and related IT.
• Review architecture, electrical, security floor plans and drawings.
• Design and implement system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and create design documentation.
• Provide technical support to on-site and in-office teams.
• Help document new technology deployment with customers.
• Stay current on access control, video, intrusion, biometrics and vendors.
