STRS Ohio is looking for a Securities Operations Specialist I or II to join their Finance Investments team. This role involves processing securities transactions, requiring a high school diploma, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, depending on the grade level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred for Grade 8N.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required for Grade 9N.
• One to three years of investment processing or related experience preferred for Grade 8N.
• Three to five years of investment processing or related experience preferred for Grade 9N.
• Knowledge of investment management systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Research and process corporate action events for designated asset class coverage.
• Process daily investment transactions.
• Work with external brokers to match trade activity.
• Notify custodian banks of trade activity by stated deadlines.
• Review daily position reconciliations and prepare sign-offs.
