Job summary

STRS Ohio, the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2 to join the Investment Management team in Columbus. The role supports the Investments department with diverse administrative tasks, including preparing PowerPoint presentations, coordinating travel, and assisting with policy implementations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least five years of administrative experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years administrative experience in an office environment required.
• Aptitude to arrange complex international travel and lodging within established guidelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop PowerPoint presentations, coordinate and edit agendas, meeting summaries and other materials in support of the overall goals of the Investment department.
• Coordinate and confirm calculations on the external manager fees for international equity on a quarterly basis.
• Arrange and coordinate international travel, ensuring accurate completion of expense reports; provide backup support to other travel coordinators as needed.
• Assist Investment Policy Officer with Proxy Voting Policy implementation, including proxy voting and tracking.
