Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) seeks a Deployment Engineer to join the SecureView team. You will install, configure, and manage ESXi/VMware servers, RHEL and Windows servers, and workstations, delivering support at local and remote customer sites.

Responsibilities include testing upgrades, creating technical docs, and serving as SME for assessments. Travel up to 25% and DoD environment familiarity preferred; TS/SCI clearance desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years IT deployments/service delivery in end user environments OR equivalent.
• 4 years hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL.
• 4 years experience administering Windows Server environments.
• 4 years experience in help desk or customer support roles.
• Solid understanding of hypervisors such as Xen, VMware, and Citrix.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher preferred.
• Familiarity with USAF cyber/DoD environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Linux and Windows workstation installation, management and troubleshooting.
• ESXi server install, configure and troubleshoot; create and support Windows and RHEL VMs.
• Act as SME for assessments and provide Tier 3-4 support for SecureView.
• Develop and execute test plans for hardware/software upgrades.
• Develop technical documentation and diagrams.
• Support customer calls.
