Job summary
Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Deployment Engineer to join our SecureView team in Rome, NY. This onsite role involves daily installation, configuration, and management of ESXi/VMware servers, RHEL and Windows servers, as well as Linux and Windows workstations.
The position also provides support for SecureView at local and remote customer sites and requires TS/SCI clearance. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years IT deployment experience or an equivalent
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination with 5 years deploying IT services.
- 4 years of hands-on Linux/RHEL experience.
- 4 years of Windows Server administration experience.
- 4 years in help desk or customer support roles.
- Solid understanding of Xen, VMware, and Citrix hypervisors.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (CompTIA Security+ CE) preferred.
- Familiarity with USAF cyber community or DoD environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Linux and Windows workstations.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot ESXi servers; support Windows and RHEL VMs.
- Serve as SME for assessments and Tier 3-4 support for SecureView.
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware/software upgrades.
- Create technical documentation and diagrams.
- Support customer calls.
