Assured Information Security (AIS) seeks a Deployment Engineer to join our SecureView team onsite in Rome, NY. The role involves daily installation, configuration, and management of ESXi/VMware servers, RHEL and Windows servers, as well as Linux and Windows workstations, with support at local and remote customer sites.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of IT deployment experience, plus 4 years with Linux/RHEL and Windows Server

Qualifications

• 4 years hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL.

Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Deployment Engineer to join our SecureView team. The position also provides support for SecureView at both local and remote customer sites.

• This is an onsite position in Rome, NY and requires a TS/SCI.

What You’ll Do

Education/Experience/Skillset Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study and 5 years of experience in performing IT deployments or service delivery in an end user/customer environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years of hands‑on experience with Linux/RHEL.
• 4 years of experience administering Windows Server environments.
• 4 years of experience in help desk or other customer support roles.
• Solid understanding of hypervisors such as Xen, VMware, and Citrix.
• Demonstrated experience in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (i.e., CompTIA Security+ CE) preferred.
• Familiarity with system installation considerations within the USAF cyber community or DoD environments, supporting both local and remote users and site managers, is preferred.

US Salary Range: $94,000 - $147,000.
Comprehensive benefits package includes employer‑paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401(k).
