Job summary

Airspace Experience Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Software Engineer in Detroit, MI to develop secure V2X architectures and perform threat assessments. You will use eHSM and cryptography to protect vehicle-to-vehicle data exchange and contribute to safety-critical, high-assurance automotive systems.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded security or automotive cybersecurity, C/C++ expertise, and knowledge of IEEE 1609.2. US citizenship is required for customers and sponsors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded security or automotive cybersecurity.
• Experience with V2X security or automotive SoCs is a plus.
• US citizenship is required by ASX’s customers and sponsors.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for secure V2X message signing and verification, leveraging IEEE 1609.2 standards.
• Implement secure boot, trusted execution environments (TEE), and hardware‑accelerated cryptography.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security.
• Collaborate with embedded and wireless teams to integrate security features into the V2X software stack.
