Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect automotive control modules against cyber threats. You will design, implement, and validate security controls for software across vehicle features including OTA updates, connectivity, and access controls.

The role requires hands-on experience with AUTOSAR, secure communications, cryptography, and SAE J3061, plus a bachelor’s in a cybersecurity-related field and 3+ years in automotive security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field required.
• 3+ years automotive/vehicle security experience.
• Experience with vehicle protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi.

Responsibilities

• Follow ISO 21434 and OEM cybersecurity strategy.
• Develop and validate security features like secure boot and secure software updates.
• Review requirements and translate into cybersecurity software requirements.
• Support hardware/software interfaces and ECU cybersecurity materials.
