Job summary

BarnAllen Technologies is seeking an on-site Administrative/Data Entry professional to support secure government operations in Rockville, Maryland. You will scan, index, and upload documents, and prepare data for entry with strong attention to detail.

You will verify paper and electronic versions for completeness, resize images for readability, and provide timely status reports to supervision while following safety guidelines. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and write basic correspondence.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Ability to assess work product for errors and quality.
• Lift cartons weighing up to 35 pounds, as required.

Responsibilities

• Scan documents on high speed scanning stations, assign indices, and upload images.
• Extract, cross reference, and prepare data for entry; perform repetitive entry from source documents.
• Review and prepare files according to conversion requirements; maintain files and records.
• Communicate status and provide reports to supervisory staff to ensure timely contract deliverables.
• Resize and format images to create a mirror image of the paper document for readability.
• Verify electronic and paper versions for completeness and quality per client standards.
• Follow safety standards in using equipment and other activities.
• Work on-site at a secure Government location.
