Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly organized Logistics Administrator in Springfield, VA to ensure smooth support for inquiries related to inventory, repairs, returns, supplier interfaces, and field servicing. The role serves as a central point of contact between internal departments and external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will maintain logs, track logistics actions, and support process improvements while mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in customer service, technical support, or service operations.
• Experience handling repair/service logs, records, and case documentation.
• Proficient in handling inquiries, order processing, and case management using CRM systems.
• Understanding of SOPs and service workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries by initiating actions like inventory issuance, repairs, returns, or field service requests.
• Track and manage the status of logistics actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain logs, records, and files related to inventory movements, repair activities, and service actions.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and shipping/receiving teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Communicate with external courier and transportation services to coordinate delivery and pickup schedules.
