Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a part-time, on-call document control technician to manage secure scanning and filing of sensitive materials within a certified facility. The role requires US citizenship, 1+ year in related work, and a strong focus on accuracy and security.

Responsibilities include scanning, QA, secure storage, and destruction of documents, with emphasis on chain-of-custody and meticulous logging. On-site only, with 20% travel possible to client sites.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• 1+ year in document management, digital scanning, data entry, or secure records.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years clerical in a government security environment.
• Familiar with scanners, OCR, file naming conventions, secure networks.
• Experience handling classified/sensitive records with precision.

Responsabilités

• Document scanning from paper files into digital formats with exact naming and metadata.
• 100% QA checks for legibility, orientation, completeness, and no missing pages.
• Upload and catalog files on classified servers per taxonomy and access controls.
• Prepare and execute destruction of hard-copy documents per standards.
• Maintain project logs: inventory, daily counts, verification, destruction certificates.
• Ensure secure containers are locked and secured when unattended.
