Job summary

Torch Technologies Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Document Digitization Specialist for a short-term, on-site project in a secure facility. This part-time, temporary on-call role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance before start. Tasks include scanning, QA checks, secure storage, and proper destruction of classified records.

Candidates should have 1+ year in secure records management and 3+ years clerical government experience, with familiarity in OCR and high-volume scanners.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• 1+ year in document management or secure records.
• 3 years clerical experience in a government security environment.
• Familiar with OCR software and high-volume scanners.
• Knowledge of file naming conventions and secure network file structures.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Scan paper files into designated digital formats with exact naming and metadata.
• Perform 100% visual and structural QA on scanned images.
• Upload and catalog files on secure servers per taxonomy.
• Prepare and execute destruction of hard-copy documents per standards.
• Maintain logs for inventory, counts, verification, and destruction.
• Keep GSA containers secured when unattended.
