Job summary

GEO Secured Services seeks a dedicated transporter to securely move detainees between facilities. You will ensure vehicles are safe and properly maintained, perform DVIRs, and complete all required paperwork with accuracy.

The role demands adherence to DOT rules, prompt reporting of issues, and availability for extended travel and overtime. The position requires a Class B/C CDL with Passenger endorsement, 80 hours of driver training, and certifications in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Valid CDL Class B or C with Passenger endorsement at hire.
• 80 hours of verified driver training.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• Current license with clean driving record; no major infractions in past 3 years.
• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to travel extended periods with overnight stays.
• Willingness to work overtime frequently.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; reside in U.S. last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Secure detainees before leaving a facility and during transport.
• Ensure vehicle safety, perform inspections, and report defects.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Deliver vehicles for servicing and pick up when ready.
• Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with management and safety personnel as needed.
