Job summary

The American Bar Association (ABA) seeks a driven professional to oversee CLE programming and related educational offerings for an assigned section. You will conceptualize, develop, and implement new programs aligned with the entity’s goals and coordinate MCLE submissions, speaker management, and leadership meetings.

You will also drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and lead programming staff while engaging with members, vendors, and potential partners to expand impact and reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years’ experience in association program management.
• At least three years’ experience developing proposed programs for CLE consideration.
• Previous experience in budget management to include reporting, analysis, and budget compliance for a major section.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and deployment of CLE programming and other educational programming for an assigned section or entity.
• Conceptualize, develop, and implement new programs aligned with goals of the entity.
• Oversee submission of MCLE, speaker administration, invitations, and leadership meetings.
• Manage and expand the sections’ non-dues revenue objectives related to programming.
• Maintain reporting and corrective action plans for budget oversight.
• Interact with members, vendors, and potential business partners.
• Coach and lead programming staff for regional meetings and logistics.
• Cultivate outside partnerships and co-sponsorships.
