RTX is seeking a Section Leader in Massachusetts to lead a team of engineers within the SE&TC organization. The role requires active and transferable U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will define goals, oversee performance management, and support department initiatives while contributing as a technical lead or contributor. The position is onsite in either Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with the Performance Development process.
• Experience working in a matrix environment.
• Experience leading teams across wide geographic areas.
• Experience with EVMS or similar budget tracking system.
• Experience with Raytheon's Proposal Capture Process.
• Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of engineers.
• Establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team.
• Oversee direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.
• Support department and directorate level initiatives.
• Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversight of personnel issue resolution.
• Timecard approvals.
• Adhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and Behaviors.
• Work as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 10% of the employee's time.
